AAPI Progress Education Fund supports organizations working to civically engage AAPI communities across the U.S and increase AAPI representation in policy making. To do this, we make grants to organizations working in the following three core areas: research, community education, and civic engagement.

We make grants to organizations working in the following three core areas:

Research

on AAPI communities, including demographic shifts among sub-ethnicity groups, tracking geographies where AAPI communities are moving as a result of COVID and economic opportunities, where and how AAPI communities are receiving and consuming information, and other related research questions.

Community Education

on key issue areas that greatly impact the AAPI community. This includes hosting nonpartisan community awareness events, stakeholder convenings on topics ranging from gun violence prevention to climate change to education, and engagement between AAPI communities and local, state and national policy makers.

Civic Engagement

at national and state levels including supporting in-language nonpartisan get-out-the voter and nonpartisan voter registration materials for sub-ethnicity communities, and partnering with state-level organizations to promote nonpartisan get out the vote in AAPI communities.
